HOW IT WORKS
How it works…
The jaws, webbing and ratchet hold the device steady. A fire hose is fitted to one end of the pipe and a nozzle or branch pipe to the other. The clamping jaws allow the nozzle or branch direction to be adjusted during operation.
The pipe can be fitted with fire hose couplings for suit most standards. British instantaneous, Storz, French, Italian, Scandinavian and US fittings.
How strong…
Soloclamp is designed to hold nozzle reaction forces up to
60 daN/Kgf

Safety…
The water tube is attached to the jaws with a stainless-steel cable. If the Soloclamp is accidentally dislodged or broken by an impact (for example contact with a vehicle) the hose and nozzle are tethered to the jaws to minimise flailing.
(Soloclamp fitted with optional Storz hose couplings)
Manufacture…
All Soloclamp parts are made from corrosion resistant materials. The clamping jaws and fixings are SS304 stainless steel (Offshore model SS316).
The clamping ball and water tube are hard anodised marine grade aluminium.
Every Soloclamp is etched with a build date and unique serial number. Soloclamp devices are manufactured in the UK by Soloclamp Ltd. and carry a 2-year warranty.
